The Current Look Of Dalmarnock Station To The Eventually New And Refurbished Looking Dalmarnock Station Photography Project
Railway and Freelance Photography By Jonathan McGurk @ fotopic.net
A close view of one of many sewage and water pools at the station in the East End Of Glasgow. Dalmarnock station is full of sewage on the track throughout the station and has a horrible smell when you are there because of the show much there and how strong the sewage is running through the station.Previous | NextA general view of Dalmarnock station looking towards Rutherglen can be seen. In this image you can clearly see the sewage water running all the way up the track and on the left and right handside the pipes on the walls going up the hill in towards Rutherglen all spill out dirty water and sewage which is also a problem in this area of the station. The reason for the sewage and the bad smells at the station is because there is a sewage works just up from the station and the sewage and water pipes lead from there into the station. Inside the station building there is even signs letting commuters know to watch out and to be aware of the slippery surface caused by the sewage water pools. 24/07/08.
